Mt Buller Snow Camp

Snow camp 2025 was an absolute blast!
❄️Our brave skiers and some snowboarders made the best of subpar weather on the first couple days and were rewarded with a nice powder dump over Wednesday! Our groups made fast progress skiing, especially the first-time skiers⛷️, who by the end of the trip were easily capable of intermediate runs! Everyone always made sure to lend a hand on the many occasions people stacked it, albeit after having a good laugh!

Off the slopes, students played games 🎲such as Mafia and spoons and created three renditions of a snowman ☃️that we named Richard. Overall, everyone left the camp with newfound skills and friends💙.

Science

Environmental science

The last unit for VCE Unit 4 Environmental Science is focussed around how we can be more sustainable in our energy use🌱. We focussed on household energy efficiency and design and had a terrific excursion to the new sustainable housing development in Brunswick, Nightingale 1🏡. It was so great to see all the features we have talked about in action and to hear about how they also make their housing more socially accessible and community oriented🌍.

Entry Science

Entry Science have lately been learning about forces ⚖️including the wonders of gravity and simple machines such as levers and pulleys. We have had all sorts of challenges including making parachutes🪂, using tweezers, marshmallow catapults and throwing balls for Meg's dog Pippa🐶.
